Flash Flood Warning in Effect Until 12:45 a.m. Thursday | Tornado Watch Cancelled

UPDATE 11 P.M.:

The Tornado Watch is now cancelled.

Flash Flood Warning is still in effect until 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 19 and street flooding is possible. Residents are encouraged to be weather aware and should check local media for high water areas prior to morning commute.

UPDATE 10 P.M.:

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for the area including Missouri City until 10:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, May. 18.

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for the area including Missouri City until 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 19.

Residents encouraged to stay safe and be cautious of street flooding. Remember, do not drive on high water areas, Turn Around, Don’t Drown.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch  for the area including Missouri City until 2 a.m. Wednesday, May 19. Strong wind and hail is possible.

Be ready and plan where to seek shelter in the event a Tornado Warning is issued. Warning alert is issued when there is a tornado spotted in the area. See images on right for more details.


Area is also in a Flash Flood Watch until 7 a.m. Thursday, May 20. Stay weather aware and be ready.
