River Info
Two major rivers, the Brazos and San Bernard Rivers, flow through Fort Bend County. The Brazos River diagonally bisects the county flowing northwest to southeast. Major streams that flow into the river include Big Creek, Oyster Creek, and Buffalo Bayou. The western boundary of Fort Bend County is delineated by the San Bernard River.
Due to the threat of flooding from these rivers, gauges are installed to monitor river levels. Please use the below links to access National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service and the National Weather Serve West Gulf River Forecast Center.
